WIPOTEC Advanced Line Connector

A new version of the Wipotec packaging line connector has been developed with the following features:

• Executing Rework operations (importing an order from the Wipotec packaging line interface)
  
  • Operators can perform rework operations on the Wipotec line for an order with multiple partial orders. Changing the hierarchy of the items produced in different partial orders is now possible.

• Pushing Serial Numbers to the Wipotec Line automatically
  
  • A new feature to automatically allocate the Wipotec packaging line with an additional pool of serial numbers has been developed when the Wipotec line is running out of serial numbers during the ongoing production (without stopping the order). This feature can be set up from the ARC Admin module to operate automatically.

• Pushing Serial Numbers to the Wipotec Line manually
  • A new feature to automatically allocate the Wipotec packaging line with an additional pool of serial numbers has been developed when the Wipotec line is running out of serial numbers during the ongoing production (without stopping the order). This feature can be triggered manually from the ARC MES Cockpit screen by clicking on a newly developed button “Push SN to PL”.
• Database operations performance improvement
  • During the importation of packaging, order results from the Wipotec packaging line to ARC, and the bulk insert feature has been developed. All printed serial numbers will be imported into the ARC database simultaneously. Previously, each serial number was imported into the ARC database one by one.

Please note that the WIPOTEC Advanced Line Connector is available as an extension together with the ARC Platform version 6.10.*.
